Grooved-front cabinetry
A defining feature of the AV 6023 GL kitchen cabinets by German manufacturer Häcker Kitchens is their fluted surface texture, formed by pressing, embossing and detailing veneer-coated wood panels into a series of slim grooves. The intensity of the production process is such that 129 square feet of veneer is required to make 10 square feet of grooved front.
The resulting cabinetry serves as a visual grounding point and minimalist backdrop for contemporary spaces, according to a press release shared with Multifamily Dive. The fronts are available in oak, walnut and black oak wood species.
Continuous corners
The Barricade Thermo-Brace Guard structural sheathing corner wrap, made for use with Indevco North America’s other structural sheathing products, is designed to join walls together at the corners, creating a continuous energy-efficient insulation barrier.
The product has the same strength rating as the standard Thermo-Brace structural sheathing. Its application also replaces the need for corner flashing, saving the time and money required to flash corners during construction, according to the manufacturer.
A twist on traditional
The SH-148 showerhead offers an alternative to typical raincan showerheads by combining traditional design elements with a slim profile measuring 1 inch thick.
The heads are made of solid brass and feature self-cleaning rubber jets. They are available in a choice of three sizes — 8, 10 and 12 inches wide — as well as 25 finishes, including 15 physical vapor deposition finishes that include a lifetime warranty against tarnishing.
Hot water on demand
Bosch Thermotechnology’s new Tronic 4000 C and Tronic 6100 C tankless water heaters provide high-efficiency electric water heating at two scales — Tronic 4000 C for point of use applications, such as under sinks, and Tronic 6100 C for whole homes or units.
Both units have very small footprints — 8.5 by 13 inches for the Tronic 4000 C and 13 ¼ and 20 ¼ inches for the Tronic 6100 C. The 6100 C comes with fittings for both cold and hot water connections, may be installed in place of tank water heaters, and delivers 95% operating efficiency with no standby loss, according to the manufacturer.
