Novel Harpeth Heights, a 322-unit property co-developed by Charlotte, North Carolina-based Crescent Communities and Brentwood, Tennessee-based real estate agency Pearl Street Partners, opened its doors late last month in Nashville’s Bellevue neighborhood, located 15 minutes from the city center.
The property’s design — executed by Addison, Texas-based HEDK Architects and Franklin, Tennessee-based 906 Studio Architects — is built around the concept of “Tennessee Heritage,” which incorporates both a connection to nature and the architectural and cultural history of Middle Tennessee, according to a press release.
The main clubhouse, located in the center of the property and surrounded by herb gardens, fruit tree orchards and beehives, is designed to look like a country farmhouse with a rear-screened patio. This aesthetic extends across the rest of the property, with a white and muted tan color palette, sloped roofs, stark wood accents and classic farmhouse-style detailing on the interiors, including door and window frames.
“Novel Harpeth Heights celebrates the innate spirit of Tennessee, providing a haven for residents who want a connection to nature, convenience and a sense of adventure,” said Ben Collins, executive managing director for Crescent Communities, in the release. “With Warner Park and the Harpeth and Cumberland Rivers all nearby, residents have endless outdoor adventures at their fingertips.”
The property is nearly 30% leased as of its opening, with unit types ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The apartments are spread across four residential buildings, each with elevators and conditioned hallways.
The outdoor amenity deck, located next to the clubhouse, includes both a rounded resort-style pool and a lap pool, surrounded by chairs, cabanas and lounge seating, as well as the Carriage House, where the spa and fitness center are located.
Other amenities include a library, a business center and conference room, a fire pit, gas grills, swinging chairs, a gear station for maintaining bikes, a dog wash and dog parks for large and small breeds. The property is also partnering with local chefs to provide meals out of its communal kitchen and dining room.
“We’ve incorporated all of our best thinking and lessons learned into the planning and programming of Novel Harpeth Heights,” said Khris Pascarella, principal of Pearl Street Partners. “Our goal is to provide a resort experience and five-star service from our management team, while creating a relaxing setting for residents to enjoy.”
Novel Harpeth Heights is both the latest property in Crescent’s Novel apartment brand, focused on unique living experiences, and its newest development in the Nashville market. Novel Edgehill, also in Nashville, is also in lease-up and nearing full occupancy.
