A brand new species
Andersen Windows and Doors’ E-Series wood window line now includes white oak as a species option. This new option provides a natural, muted tone designed to be compatible with a number of design styles, including contemporary and mid-century, according to the company.
The E-Series windows are available in a variety of design specifications, including 50 standard colors, custom color options, anodized finishes and interior wood stain options. A clear coat option preserves the look of the white look base, inside and out
Smart package scanning
Position Imaging Inc.’s Smart Package Room platform now includes In-Room Scanning, which moves the package scanning and assignment process from an exterior kiosk to a mobile, handheld device in the room. According to Position Imaging, this change will not only allow couriers to scan items closer to the dropoff location, but also makes scanning easier and faster by converting the process to a single-hand action.
The base Smart Package Room incorporates a series of “computer vision” devices to track and monitor packages. Once a courier scans in and places a package, residents are immediately notified and may use a PIN or QR code to enter the room, where visual and audio cues from the computer vision devices will guide them to their package. The room also includes cold storage for perishable food items and a hanging rack for dry cleaning dropoff.
Durable deck railings
Composite decking manufacturer MoistureShield has added two new series of contemporary-style deck railings — the Solid Core Composite Series Railing and the Compass Series Aluminum Railing.
The Solid Core series is subdivided into three railing lines:
- Traverse, a T-Rail profile available in a glossy white, clay or gray finish.
- Discovery, a bread loaf profile in a white, clay or gray finish with an optional flat cocktail rail.
- Navigator, available in Capital, Contempo and Graspable Stair top rail styles with an acrylic satin white finish and wood-look composition.
The Compass aluminum railing series is available with Cambridge or Classic style top options in a matte black or matte bronze powder-coated finish.
On-site video analytics
Realync’s multifamily video program now includes an analytics dashboard, through which property teams can gauge the performance of their live and pre-recorded video content.
The core program enables site teams to record and share live or pre-recorded video from any device, including live video tours, with prospective residents. Key information available on the dashboard includes usage and engagement metrics, insights on performance over time, leaderboards and to-do lists. The analytics platform covers the full Realync content repository to demonstrate performance dating back before the launch.
