The National Multifamily Housing Council tracks the top-performing companies in the industry each year. From syndicators and owners to builders and managers, the NMHC rankings are much anticipated.
For 2023, there were some notable shakeups on the lists. Memphis, Tennessee-based REIT MAA claimed the top spot on the Owners list, while Charleston, South Carolina-based owner, manager, developer and builder Greystar Real Estate Partners extended its more-than-a-decade run at the top of the Managers ranking. However, Scottsdale, Arizona-based Alliance Residential passed Greystar to claim the top spot on the Developers list.
