DALLAS — SANTA FE, NM, Oct. 24, 2022 – A celebratory groundbreaking ceremony took place in Santa Fe on Monday, Oct. 24, to mark the commencement of the construction of the Casa Siena apartments.
Award-winning interiors firm, HPA Design Group, joined the event with various individuals from the project team, including the developer, Presidium Real Estate; architect, Humphreys and Partners Architects; and general contractor, Pavilion Construction. The 171-unit multifamily development is located at 5750 Airport Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
“We are thrilled to be a part of this notable and prominent development in the Santa Fe market,” Chelsea Dora-Shibley remarked, president of HPA Design Group. “This location is ideal and will offer quality new housing options for residents with various income levels.”
The three-story structure will wrap around two courtyards - with a swimming pool and hot tub in one and a more natural, landscaped setting in the other. The site plan also reflects a separate mixed-use component with two street-facing lots set for several medical and retail tenants within walking distance of the residential development.
Interiors for the 7,000-square-foot amenity space will be designed with a modern desert aesthetic derived from the fusion of mid-century modern and free-spirited Bohemia. Warm textures mixed with fresh greenery represent the lively and unmistakable fabric of Santa Fe.
Casa Siena is located within a Qualified Opportunity Zone of Santa Fe and will provide much-needed housing for low-income residents with a mix of market rate and affordable units.
